Welcome to my Magicka Necromancer PVE Build for ESO! Hades is a Staff DPS Build for every type of PVE Gameplay in The Elder Scrolls Online! The Build relies on its minions and Elemental damage to defeat enemies and clear content! The idea behind Hades is to use your Undead minions to deal damage but also as a source of corpses to fuel your Necromancer Class abilities. ESO Magicka Necromancer PVE Build Setup

Hades is a Staff Magcro DPS Build, that relies on its minions to deal damage and heal! Depending on the content you wish to complete you should change your gear based on the recommendations below!

Trials Group DPS

This setup is for dedicated group gameplay, is using harder to find Trial gear and aims to help you achieve the best damage possible! Whorl of the Depthsis a strong Set that can boost your damage and works as the core set of the Build. Combine it withPillar of Nirnfor even better damage. One piece ofSlimecraw,Harpooner’s Wading kiltmythic Set andCrushing Wallon your back bar complete the Setup!

No Trial Gear

The No-Trial Gear setup is meant for easier Solo but also easier Group PVE Gameplay. You can wear this setup if you are planning to play Overland content(Public Dungeons, World Bosses) or clear normal Dungeons. This setup is not strong enough to survive Solo Arenas like the Maelstrom Arena,Vateshran HollowsandInfinite Archive.For this purpose you should use a dedicated Solo PVE Necromancer Build. Iceheart and Frostbite are two great Frost based Sets that help Necromancer enhance their Frost based attacks.

Skills for Magicka Necromancer PVE Build ESO

The Build relies on powerful Minions to deal damage and heal yourself. To complement the minions and maximize your potential you can also use strong elemental based damage abilities. The Necromancer is a unique Class in ESO, that is using corpses to fuel some of its skills and deal more damage or provide additional effects. The Build is also using the Shocking Soul Scribing skill to boost its shock based damage!

• Avid Boneyard(Boneyard): Frost AOE damage skill that allows you to use your own synergy to deal more damage and heal.
• Ricochet Skull(Flame Skull)/Frost Reach(Destructive Touch): Main skill & spammable. Use Frost Reach for Frost DPS and Ricochet Skull with Dedicated group Build.
• Barbed Trap(Trap Beast): Additional DOT damage that also boosts Critical Damage.
• Blighted Blastbones(Sacrificial Bones): Great source of damage for Necromancer.
• Mystic Siphon(Shocking Siphon): Deals good shock damage but also restores Magicka.
• Flawless Dawnbreaker(Dawnbreaker): Buffs damage and deals great direct and DOT damage.
• Shocking Soul: Shock Damage+Lingering Torment+Breach
• Unstable Wall of Elements(Wall of Elements): Strong AOE-DOT damage skill.
• Skeletal Arcanist(Skeletal Mage): Undead minion that assists with shock attacks.
• Spirit Guardian(Spirit Mender): Healing ability that also boosts defense.
• Spell Symmetry(Equilibrium): Restores Magicka at the cost of Health.

Champion Points for Magicka Necromancer PVE Build ESO

Below you will find the best Champion Points setup for the Build. When allocating Champion points to Slottable and Passive Stars your primary goal is to create paths! Allocate the minimum required points to stars along your path in order to reach your desired Slottable Stars faster. Once you have unlocked all Stars, start allocating more Champion Points to them to fill them out. Focus on Slottable Stars first, then Passive Stars. Warfare

• Slottable Stars: Deadly Aim, Master-at-Arms, Wrathful Strikes, Fighting Finesse
• Passive: Eldritch Insight, Piercing, Flawless Ritual, War Mage, Quick Recovery, Hardy, Elemental Aegis, Preparation, Precision, Blessed, Tireless Discipline

Craft

• Slottable Stars: Rationer, Liquid Efficiency, Master Gatherer, Steed’s Blessing
• Passive: Gilded Fingers, Fortune’s Favor, Wanderer, Steadfast Enchantment, Treasure Hunter(slottable, required for path)

Fitness

• Slottable Stars: Celerity, Fortified, Rejuvenation, Boundless Vitality
• Passive: Sprinter, Hasty, Tireless Guardian, Hero’s Vigor, Mystic Tenacity, Tumbling, Defiance

Food and Potions for Magcro DPS Build

Clockwork Citrus Filet is the Best Food for the Build while Essence of Spell Power is the best option as Potions.

Race

The Best Race for the Magicka Necromancer PVE Build in ESO is High Elf. Dark Elf, Khajiit and Breton are nice alternative Races you can use for a DPS focused Build. Any Race with Magicka bonuses can work well though. You can find more about the playable races in my ESO Race Guide!

Vampire or Werewolf

Neither is necessary.

Rotation for Magicka Necromancer PVE Build ESO

Drink a potion, set your Barbed Trap, summon Spirit Guardian(solo), attack with Shocking Soul, Unstable Wall of Elements, Skeletal Arcanist and switch bars. Continue with Blighted Blastbones, Ricochet Skull, Avid Boneyard, Blighted Blastbones, Mystic Siphon, Ricochet Skull, Blighted Blastbones, Ricochet Skull x2, Blighted Blastbones, Ricochet Skull x2, Blighted Blastbones. Use Ricochet Skull as your spammable and re cast the other abilities when necessary. When you are in front bar, use Blighted Blastbones after every two skills. Use Glacial Colossus when ready and Light Attack before every skill or action to boost your damage. Restore your Magicka with Spell Symmetry.

Best Companion for Magicka Necromancer PVE Build ESO

If you wish to play Solo with the Magicka Necromancer PVE Build, you can bring along a mighty Companion! Companions in ESO are helpful allies that can assist you in combat. Every Companion can fulfill every role in the game and help you enjoy ESO more by clearing content faster or by simply interacting with them and their charming personality! There are various Builds you can use for every available ESO Companion! As a DPS focused character my recommendation is to bring along a Tank or Healer Companion!
